This Privacy Policy describes how the dimpemekug.com website handles the data of its visitors. Each app presented on the site has its own privacy policy, listed at the bottom of this page.

Data controller
The data controller is dimpemekug, who can be reached at dimpemekug.app@gmail.com.
Website hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. As stated in GitHub’s documentation, when a page is visited the visitor’s IP address is logged and stored by GitHub for security purposes, even if the visitor does not have a GitHub account.
The controller has no access to these logs and does not use them. GitHub’s processing is governed by the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running the site securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Article images
The images in blog articles are loaded from images.unsplash.com, the image service of
Unsplash. When you open an article, your browser downloads them directly from Unsplash, which
therefore receives your IP address and the technical details included in any request on the
Internet (such as your browser type). Other pages on the site do not load images from Unsplash.
Unsplash’s processing is governed by its privacy policy. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in illustrating the articles.
Preferences stored in your browser
The site stores the theme you chose (light, dark, or system) and the accent color in your browser’s
localStorage, so they look the same on your next visit. This data stays in your browser, is not
sent to anyone, and can be cleared from your browser settings. It is not a cookie and is not used
to recognize you.
Email messages
If you write to the address shown on the site, you voluntarily send your email address and the content of your message. This data is used only to reply and is kept for as long as that takes, unless it is needed for a further exchange you have asked for. The legal basis is your own request. Email is handled through Gmail, a Google service.
External links
The site contains links to other websites, such as the App Store, Google Play, and GitHub. When you follow a link you leave dimpemekug.com, and the destination site’s privacy policy applies from that point on.
Your rights
Under Articles 15-22 GDPR you can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of processing, and object to processing, by writing to the address above. For data processed by GitHub and Unsplash you can also contact them directly.
You always have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
