Statistics, Limits, and Reports

Monthly consumption analysis, trend charts, budget limit alerts, and periodic report generation in DomoMeter.

DomoMeter’s home dashboard offers immediate clarity on utility performance:

  • Estimated Current Usage: projected run rate based on the latest logged intervals.
  • Month-over-Month Comparisons: view consumption changes relative to the previous month or the corresponding month last year.
  • Seasonal Trend Charts: visualize changes across seasons (such as winter heating demands or summer air-conditioning loads).

Annual Budgets and Proactive Alerts

To avoid surprises when utility invoices arrive, configure custom annual ceilings for each utility:

  1. Set Target Limits: define a maximum annual quota in units (e.g., 2,700 kWh/year or 800 Smc/year) or estimated currency amounts.
  2. Pacing Indicator: a visual progress gauge illustrates actual consumption compared to the expected pro-quota allocation for the current day of the year.
  3. Threshold Alerts: if your consumption rate exceeds expected budget pacing, DomoMeter highlights the discrepancy before the billing cycle closes.

Periodic Reports Export

Generate detailed summaries of your historical usage to keep or share:

  • Historical Log: lists all readings with dates, computed deltas, and notes.
  • Device-Local Generation: reports are rendered on-device, ready to be saved to Files, emailed, or printed.
