What is rManga?

rManga is the reader for your collection of manga, comics, and books, and for animated series: the files you own, your servers, and the catalogs you choose, in one library on iPhone and iPad.

rManga does not host or distribute any content: it only reads what you add.

Key Features

  • Your library: CBZ, CBR, EPUB, PDF, FB2, and text files, or image folders, imported from the Files app; series, chapters, and covers organized automatically, with your progress always where you left it
  • Your servers: Komga, Kavita, Suwayomi, and Jellyfin, including on your home network, and any OPDS catalog, such as public-domain book catalogs
  • Extensions: support for Aidoku and Paperback extensions and for video modules, from the repositories you add
  • Comfortable reading: single page, two-page spreads on iPad, or continuous scrolling for webtoons; right-to-left reading, zoom, and on-device image enhancement
  • Books: EPUB with highlights and bookmarks
  • Video: player with subtitles and intro and recap skipping
  • Always with you: downloads to read and watch offline, alerts for new chapters, optional iCloud sync between iPhone and iPad
  • Native on iOS 26: sidebar on iPad, light or dark theme, in English and Italian
  • Privacy: no account, no ads, no tracking

Data Collected
The app processes information you enter directly: your library with progress, bookmarks, and highlights, the files you import, downloaded chapters and episodes, the sources and extensions you install, your personal servers (with credentials in the Keychain), and the app's preferences. We do not collect sensitive data (health, payments, location, contacts, biometrics). No account or registration required.
Advertising & Tracking
No in-app advertising. No tracking or analytics — data is never sent to external servers for profiling.
Data Storage
All information stays on your device. Your library and progress stay on your device and, only if you turn on sync, in your private iCloud. The app only connects to the sources, servers, and services you add or use.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or share data with third parties.
Your Rights
You can access, modify, and delete your data directly within the app.
